Our Mission and Legacy
AFGE Local 2280 is a collective of dedicated employees serving veterans across the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center and its community-based outpatient clinics. United by a commitment to fairness, respect, and accountability, we advocate for safe working conditions, fair treatment, and opportunities for professional growth. Through collective bargaining, representation, and solidarity, we work to protect the rights of our bargaining unit employees while supporting the mission of providing exceptional care and service to the veterans we proudly serve.
